Packing the perfect picnic basket for The Holders Season

Holders Season, The Caribbean's International Art Festival is fast approaching. I haven't attended Holders Season in quite a few years and I am looking forward to the fantastic events and performances that they have planned. When I was asked by Platinum Wines to put together my perfect picnic basket for Holders I was more than thrilled. I can think of nothing better than laying out a blanket, enjoying gourmet foods, good wine and wonderful performances at the stunning Holders House under the stars.  

I had great fun putting together three different "picnic baskets". All wines are available online at Platinum Wines Barbados or from their store in Tudor Bridge. When choosing wines I opted for screw tops so that they were easy to open and close. Baskets and all edible contents are available from The Gourmet Shop in Hometown. Acrylic wine glasses are courtesy of Walkers World and napkins can be purchased from The Studio in the Chattel Village, Holetown.

 Some of my must haves are acrylic glasses, a comfy blanket and screw top wine bottles.
