It's been a while since I have posted one of my "Life as I know it" features. Things have been incredibly busy and I will soon have some very exciting news to share! In between the meetings, emails and overall madness I made time over the weekend to stay at my families beach house. While I wanted to sit on the verandah all day and read I went for a nice walk with my Mum, sister and boyfriend to a beach a little farther away to swim in the "pools".
The week started a little hectic but I have had a very productive few days. On Wednesday I visited a few shops in The Chattel Village in Holetown. I fell in love with "The Studio" the minute I stepped in. I had never been there before and instantly gravitated towards the beautiful linens, cushion covers and robes by Reason. I have to return some napkins to them today which I used for a photo shoot and am very tempted to treat myself.
Another stop this week was Archers Hall in Speightstown. I have blogged about their portfolio and design studio before and love my monthly meetings. Speightstown is one of my favourite parts of Barbados - I love the authenticity and simplicity of this side of the island. While at Archers Hall I fell in love with this driftwood chair. I have blogged about driftwood and seen many pieces online but this is the first driftwood furniture piece I have seen in Barbados. This piece would be perfect for a rustic space or coastal inspired interior.
