It seems as though Monday rolls around in a hurry and items from my to do list from the previous week still haven't been checked off. In an attempt to increase my productivity and get more stuff done I have written yet another list. This time it's of tips to make my to do list more effective. There are endless habits we can adopt and different methods of what's effective, these are just a few that work for me. Stay tuned for my bloggers checklist as well as tips for organising your desk space. Comment below, I would love to know what you do in order to make your day move smoother and help you in getting your tasks completed.
I am a big fan of to do lists but when they are too long they can be a bit daunting. I have been trying to make the lists more manageable and prioritise tasks.
3. Set a expiration date for your tasks.
If I don't set a time limit things that are of less importance seem to be left behind and a week later they are still there waiting to be done.
4. Check your email after you have completed your list.
This is a difficult one for me as I am in the habit of checking my email as soon as I wake up. The only problem with this is that it distracts from other things and before I know it I have spent the first hour of my morning replying to emails.
