Emmy Fashion

The MTV VMA's on Sunday were followed by the 66th Emmy Awards on Monday night and both of the red carpets had stand out looks. At The Emmy's the ladies arrived in Red, embellished and stark white gowns. I must admit at first glance there were few favourite looks for me but after pouring over the looks on Vanity Fair, Who What Wear and Harpers Bazaar I fell in love with a few of them. See below my favourite looks from the Emmy Awards. Comment and let me know which looks you loved! 

Perhaps my favourite look of the evening was Lizzy Caplan wearing Donna Karan Atelier. She paired this look with Brian Atwood shoes, Judith Leiber clutch and Neil Lane jewellery. 

Gwen Stefani was a pleasant surprise in Atelier Versace Swarovski crystal top and matching dress. The look was just the right amount of sparkle and the rectangular cutout detailing on the top added a bit of edge. She paired the look with Neil Lane jewellery. 

Sarah Hyland made the crop top look both fresh and classic. The dress and top by Christian Siriano is fun and totally age appropriate for the actress. Jewellry by Lorraine Schwartz.

Both Heidi Klum and Michelle Monaghan donned fairly safe and simple gowns that were a success in my eyes. Heidi wore Zac Posen dress; Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and Michelle a Giambattista Valli Couture dress.
