Dream Home on the coast of Santorini

I originally came across this property while searching for Greek interiors. I have had a long term affair with Greece and while I have never been it is high on my list of places to visit. There is something so magical about the cliffside towns with their white homes and blue roofs overlooking the glistening ocean. Not to mention the movie Mama Mia makes it hard not to fall in love with this enchanting location. This Greek home of Costis Physchas embraces the traditional architecture and curved white plastered walls. See the whole story on this dream home on the coast of Santorini on Elle Decor

Emmy Fashion

The MTV VMA's on Sunday were followed by the 66th Emmy Awards on Monday night and both of the red carpets had stand out looks. At The Emmy's the ladies arrived in Red, embellished and stark white gowns. I must admit at first glance there were few favourite looks for me but after pouring over the looks on Vanity Fair, Who What Wear and Harpers Bazaar I fell in love with a few of them. See below my favourite looks from the Emmy Awards. Comment and let me know which looks you loved!

Foodie Friday : Ceviche

The weekend is upon us and I am looking forward to taking a little time to myself to read a book, go for a swim and spend some time cooking. Cooking is something that at times can become a chore especially when you do it everyday. I have been making an effort to be more adventurous and try new recipes all the while being healthy. Ceviche is something that I have always loved but only had at restaurants or in Antigua when my uncle used to come in from fishing and prepare it fresh for my cousin and I. I decided to make ceviche my project for tomorrow afternoon and I am looking forward to enjoying the process and even more so the finished product. Below are three different ceviche recipes from some of my favourite food blogs. To see behind the scenes of my cooking adventures follow along on Instagram and stay tuned on the blog to see how my ceviche turned out.

Designer Tips: How to style a coffee table

It seems as though we have become slightly obsessed with styling and what's even more ridiculous is that we style so it looks "natural" or not obviously styled. I am definitely guilty of placing my throw so it looks like it has just casually been thrown there when in fact it took three tries to get it to "look natural". I also commit this crime on Instagram and definitely when it comes to bookcases, coffee tables and consoles. I tend to follow a few rules or tips but I think what is most important is that the pieces either serve a purpose or are something you truly love. Shop some of my favourite pieces for a stylish coffee table below and see my tips for styling your coffee table.

Coffee Table Must haves
1. Natural elements such as a flowers to add colour and bring the outdoors in.
2. Candles which add both ambience and scent to the room when lit.
3. Books to add height, interest and entertain visitors.
4. A stylish tray to serve as a base and organise above items
5. Anything that you love - whether it be something you collect such as shells or matchboxes or a precious stone or trinket box.

Fall in love with floral

I love flowers whether it be in my garden, a bouquet of fresh blooms or in this case - florals in fashion. Every spring and summer floral trends pop up and while there are obvious similarities no two seasons are ever the same. I love all of these looks and the styling is effortless. My fashion tip for wearing florals is to keep it simple - pair your floral print with a solid and keep accessories fun yet to a minimum. Shop some of my favourite floral finds below and comment and let me know which is your favourite look.

H&M Home

Late last year we heard about the H&M home collection and I was incredibly excited at the time, then I admit it fell off my radar until I went onto Shop Style the other day to look at H&M Clothes and it was there. I was mesmerised to say the least and went on a rampage of favouriting everything. The H&M Collection is divided into four distinct styles: graphic (bright mod patterns), colourful (wild prints and patterns), natural (whites and taupes), and classic (clean-cut style with a nautical edge). Nightstand Alternatives

Design rules are made to be broken and it's refreshing to see people stepping outside of the box and getting adventurous. While pieces of furniture are made for a specific purpose or space in a home that doesn't mean they cannot do double duty. I recently read a piece on Domaine Home which shared nightstand alternatives, the list included armoires, dressers, console tables and desks! I love the idea of a desk especially for small spaces with limited room for a dedicated work spaces. Below is some design inspiration and decorating tips on how to incorporate this piece of furniture into your bedroom. Shop some of my desk picks below.

In this colourful bedroom this nesting desk is the perfect size and design style for the space. Add interest by mixing it up and using a chair in a different finish or from a different design period.

Studio Living in Maui

Though my style and taste in interiors has evolved over time I have always had an appreciation for a well decorated small space. This studio tucked away on the isle of Maui filled with modern, vintage and earthy elements is exactly this - well thought out and decorated. I instantly fell in love with it when I saw it on Pop Sugar and still feel excited about the details of this carefree space. The studio serves as both a home and workspace for interior-designer-turned-Pandeia-founder Kelsi Vande Velden.

Sunglass Trends: Cat Eye

Cat Eye Sunglasses are by no means a new trend. In the 50's and 60's Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn rocked the cat eye style and the classic yet edgy style has been present in different variations since then. Today the cat eye style can be seen in a more exaggerated sense and frames can be seen in a variety of exciting colours and prints. Today the cat eye frames are a favourite of celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Nicole Richie, Kourtney Kardashian and style icon, Olivia Palermo.
