Summer Style Tips

Summer is in full swing and while in Barbados we are lucky enough to enjoy the warm weather year round, I know many of my international friends and followers are welcoming the change in temperature. While I am very grateful for my year long summer, I do miss the fun of changing up fashion for the seasons. I have curated some of my favourite summer styles and tips from a few of my best fashion resources. I would love to hear what trends you are loving and if you have tried any. 

1. Slouchy pants and fitted crop tops. 

I came across the first image on Lauren Conrad's page and instantly fell in love. The look is so chic and effortless and can work from day to night. After seeing the first image I visited Fash For Fashion in search of more relaxed pant looks and I am equally enthusiastic about this pairing. Add minimal gold jewellery and pair with sandals for a casual yet sophisticated look. 

2. Printed Maxi Dresses

A maxi dress is one of my wardrobe staples. Change it up for summer by introducing a bohemian print and add a hat. 

3. Dress up your denim

This first image combines a few of my summer fave fashion styles - stripes, white and dressed up distressed denim. Get this look by dressing up your distressed denim shorts or jeans with a crisp top and sophisticated accessories.
