The Man Cave redefined: Sophisticated Masculine Spaces

As fathers day approaches I decided to do something a little different for the Dad's who follow the blog.  In the early days of starting the blog I was incredibly flattered to see that I had a male audience and while I focus primarily on interiors, female fashion and beauty I like to include things on occasion that would also interest men such as food or gender neutral interior spaces. Today I'm sharing some of my favourite masculine spaces, I like to think of them as the man cave redefined. Spaces with strong masculine elements have always had appeal to me and I appreciate the dark tones, sophisticated finishes and thoughtful accessories.

This space includes both masculine and feminine elements and I love the balance between the wallpaper and cream linens with the leather tufted headboard and vintage Louis Vuitton trunks serving as a bedside table.

This masculine office epitomizes sophisticated style. The colour scheme, black painted brick and leather desk chair make this office enviable on all accounts.

Rich oak panelling, clean lines and refined finishes ooze class in this master bedroom.

The luxury in this bedroom featured on Lonny Mag is evident. I love the faux leather pillows and plush throw, the contemporary antlers are a great modern interpretation on a classic.

When I first saw this bathroom I imagined a very educated gentleman lounging here. The dark colour palette, rustic furniture and framed artwork scream man cave without being cliche.
