Interiors Inspiration

I took time yesterday to relax and do something I love but rarely have time for anymore - spending time on Pinterest! Pinterest used to serve as immense inspiration when I relaunched the blog last year and I love to get lost on it searching for interior design ideas, fun recipes and fab fashion. I didn't go on looking for anything specific but instead scrolled through my news feed stopping at my favourites and then visiting their original sources. Afterwards I felt incredibly inspired and my love for design especially was renewed. This post includes some of my favourite spaces from my inspiration hunting yesterday and what I loved and what design ideas I would love to incorporate into my own space. The exterior of this home won me instantly - I love the combination of rich navy blue, oak windows and doors and white trim. The barn door is an added bonus! 

This foyer is absolute perfection in my eyes. The credenza is an amazing piece of furniture flanked by a reworked antique chair, natural sea grass basket and two contemporary brass sconces. The herringbone floor and crown moulding are not to be missed either.

This bathroom is incredibly cool and what I like to refer to as masculine chic. The industrial design paired with floor to ceiling white subway tile and accents such as the mirror and brass fixture won me right away. 

The authenticity and charm of this room make it very special in my eyes. The map wallpaper above the bed, trunk and beautiful rug all add to the character.
