KMLM Vintage Tea Party

I posted about The Know Me Love Me Charity on the blog yesterday and briefly talked about the vintage tea party that is coming up this Friday. The Know Me Love Me Foundation aims to give needy children the chance to receive an education and have the tools to be able to do so. The charity delivers backpacks full of educationonal materials to children in Africa, Haiti and Barbados who cannot purchase them. All the proceeds from this Friday's event go towards purchasing educational materials for Barbadian school children.

I am on the decorating committee and have had a lot of fun preparing for this event, the real hard work will be Friday morning for set up! The theme is a vintage tea party and the decor will be reminiscent of this with pearls, lace, flowers, vintage tea pots and china. As for dress code it is not required that you dress up but a flowered dress, hat or lace gloves would be the perfect attire after all the invitation reads " hats and lace, that's what we'll wear, It's going to be a rather momentous affair".

I got a sneak peek of the menu yesterday and it looks amazing! Sweet treats and savory delights from some of the premier restaurants and caterers on the island not to mention some incredible items from the Know Me Love Me team. I cant forget the auction items which are sure to impress, some of which I already have my eyes on.

If you didn't see yesterday's post about KMLM Charity see it here or visit them on their website to learn more. To purchase tickets for the tea you can email me at
