I don't even know where to start this one, I am feeling so incredibly inspired and every day at Blogfest 2012 continues to get better and better. It has been a hive of activity since the first minute and I am struggling to pick a few favourites. The bloggers, sponsors, organizers, speakers and everyone involved are all beyond amazing and I continue to be impressed by everyone I meet. Blogfest 2012 kicked off at the Kips Bay Show house and Margaret Russell, editor of Architectural Digest was there to greet us all and she is even more fabulous in person! From there we headed to The Savant Experience center where I was blown away by the integration of technology and design and got a photo op with Thom Filicia and my new blogging buddy Angela from Casa Sugar!
This morning we headed to Hearst Towers for breakfast and to hear Editor in Chief of Veranda magazine - Dara Caponigro speak, along with Editor in Chief of House Beautiful - Newell Turner and some incredibly panelists as well (more details on them soon!). If that wasn't enough after that we headed over to the Elle Decor Modern Life Concept House where I was blown away to say the very least. I found it hard to pick only one room and even as I was looking through my photos to share here I was struggling to find favourites. We then headed to lunch(the food at the events has been amazing and deserves it's own post!) at Lee Jofa sponsored by Traditional Home and had an incredibly informative and entertaining question and answer session with Editor in Chief of Traditional Home - Ann Maine and the very talented and down to earth Alexa Hampton.
We then enjoyed coffee and very yummy desserts and I browsed the beautiful Kravet show rooms and thought I was in heaven for a moment surrounded by the beautiful patterns, colours and textures. By this time I had sensory overload and decided it was time to skip out on the remaining event and head back to my ever so comfortable bed at the lavish Flatiron Hotel. I am super excited for day three of Blogfest 2012 and cannot wait to share more with you, for current updates follow me on twitter or Instagram. Lots of love from New York ***
