What makes you happy? * Stephi Leigh
I have been a very naughty blogger the last week or two but I am not entirely to blame as my new apartment does not yet have internet. At the moment I'm at a coffee shop picking up free wifi and enjoying a cappuccino:) I am as always excited for this and to feature super talented musician Stephi Leigh! Stephi Leigh describes herself as "a regular girl, born and raised on a dairy farm in sunny Barbados". Stephi comes from a musical family but she only started singing seriously when she was sixteen and she says, "In a short while it’s consumed my life and become my career dream to be an internationally signed professional singer and songwriter". If you haven't already heard her stunning voice take a minute and visit her facebook page and I promise you will lose yourself in her music. You can also keep up to date by following on twitter.

Outdoor Living
There is nothing I love more than outdoor living and I am so blessed to live somewhere that the weather is conducive to this lifestyle. I'm loving all of these outdoor spaces and wish I could incorporate them into my life somehow. Outdoor spaces are a great way to increase living space especially if you have a garden or patio space that is not being utilized. The most important element in an outdoor space is comfortable furniture, make sure it is weather proof and if you have upholstered cushions or furniture ensure that the fabric is splash proof if not waterproof. Another element is greenery, the more plants the better! For more Outdoor Living ideas check out this post.

What makes you happy? * Pascale Arminjon
I came across Pascale while exploring the blog world one day and was delighted to find another Bajan who not only shared my love for interior design but was also a blogger. Pascale has her own company in London - Envie interiors and also works for Rachel Ashwell. Her instagram feed leaves me envious and keeps me dreaming. What makes her happy? Love, beaches and sparkle - to name a few!

Guest Post * Design Shuffle
Hi! I'm Joanna, a guest blogger for Design Shuffle, an interior design site for designers and enthusiasts to share design portfolios and decorating ideas and trends. On any given day, you can find me searching the web and gathering the most beautiful interior designs to share with readers of blogs such as Love Design. Thanks for allowing me to share today.
If you cringe at the thought of inky black walls or deep navy cabinetry, then this post is for you. Today, IĆll show you how these and other dark, rich colors can create the most beautiful of spaces. After viewing the following rooms, please leave a comment and let us know which is your favorite.
Chocolaty walls make a nice canvas to highlight the white sofa, lamp shades and framed prints.

This elegant, sophisticated dining room makes an excellent case for charcoal walls and ceiling. The contrast between them and the turquoise and white furnishings works perfectly.

Deep eggplant is a most unusual color for a bathroom with a claw foot tub, but again, this room works beautifully as well. The yellow chair is brilliant against the rich walls and window panels.

Is it another eggplant room or a matte black? It is a bit hard to tell but I like it regardless. I'm loving the massive, ornate Moroccan style floor mirror, lots of decorating ideas here.

If these funky purple walls could talk what do you think they would say? The rug is a bold move with the already "shout about it" wall color. Easily enhance your living room designs with bold color.

This room's colors are rich and spicy. The contrast between dark walls and avocado furnishings works nicely.

Navy blue is my new favorite hue for walls and ceilings. This space is simple gorgeous. What do you think? Does it inspire any interior design ideas?

I just can't get enough of black walls. The fun chair and other modern accents give this room a young hip vibe.
