Understated Elegance - Coastal Chic

I have been stuck in a rut recently and I think it has been reflected in my blog so when I came across this AMAZING room by designer Kathleen Hay I was so excited because it is just the room to pull my blog out of its slump. It has been a while since I have come across a space that I have been absolutely blown away by and that I love every little piece of but this one is on the top of my list. The room has an understated elegance about it and every detail works with each other which is why I'm finding it hard to pick favourites. One of my favourite decorating styles is coastal or coastal chic as I like to refer to traditional coastal elements with chic interpretations. This space is the epitomy of coastal chic from the panelling, to the oversized coral on the coffee table to the silver based lanterns to those fantastic chairs.
