I would have never said green was one of my favourite colours but recently I have been drawn to it, both in interiors and fashion. So it came as no surprise when I saw this room by Tobi Fairley in the latest Traditional Home that I had to feature it. I love the symmetry in the room, the striped green cushions and how they pop against the white sofa, the modern print on the traditional wingback chairs and the starburst mirror which is the obvious focal point in the room. What are some of your favourite elements and how do you feel about green?

Dark blue walls always add an element of sophistication to a room. I absolutely love this one by Todd Romano, the combination of the dark walls, camel leather and zebra rug create a warm yet elegant space.

Upholstered headboards are one of my favourite ways to dress up a bed not to mention tufted headboards. Jennifer Ferreira has shown her masterful interior designer skills yet again in this luxurious master bedroom. The serene colour palette, natural cowhide rug, bed bench and did I mention that fabulous upholstered headboard all work together making this a comfortable yet chic space. This is definitely one of my all time favourite bedrooms and that bed has looks incredibly comfy and somewhere I would like to spend my time. What do you love about this bedroom?
This is my dream living room. The velvet sofa and mirrored side table add a bit of glamour while the prints and chandelier maintain an island feel. What does your dream living room look like? Email me at email@example.com for mood boards of your own.

There are so many things about this space which I love. The fact that it is both functional and fabulous tops my list! The room doubles as a space to work and relax and the lamps add an unexpected touch of glam.I am definitely taking some inspiration from this room and adding some bright throw cushions into my office. I am getting very excited about my upcoming trip to Europe so in anticipation of one of my destinations I have decided to featured two beautiful Parisian interiors. I love the shabby chic look of these two rooms, the muted colour palette and the traditional chandelier.

This beach cottage living room by Meg Braff exemplifies how different styles used together CAN work! This transitional style combines both modern and traditional elements creating a cozy yet cool room. Contradiction? Maybe! It's a room I would like to relax in regardless. I love the juxtaposition of the panelling and wallpaper, the comfy sofas, the use of the bamboo accessories and that amazing yellow tufted ottomon.

It is no surprise that I love the newly released online magazine High Gloss. It is an amazing resource and every time I read it I find something else that I love. This "salon", as referred to by Cathy Echols is one of my favourite rooms and it perfectly represents High Gloss! I especially love the bar in the corner and the matching pelmet and tablecloth.

I am an avid reader and always have a number of books on my bedside. One of my dream home requirements would be to either have a library or floor to ceiling bookcases! To me floor to ceiling bookcases always warm up a room and make me want to curl up with a cup of tea and a good book. Love *

Featured in the latest (AMAZING) issue of High Gloss this living room designed by Cathy Echols for a male client epitomizes masculine glamour. Perhaps not two words often seen side by side I could not think of anything better to describe this room because that is exactly what it is. One of my favourite details is the nail head trim on the sofa.

High Gloss issue two is out today! High Gloss magazine is one of my favourite online magazines and features interior design, fashion, entertaining ideas and travel destinations. In the premier issue they featured this amazing bachelorette pad by designer Erin Gates. I think I'm in LOVE!
|I love the black piping on the sofa and|
the great floor to ceiling windows.
Quite possibly my favourite dining area EVER!
I'm loving all the details, especially the glamourous chandelier and mirror.
Online magazines have started to pop up everywhere and while I am partial to hard copies I cant deny what a great resource they are plus the amount of paper that is being saved by having it done electronically is amazing! Some of my favourite Interior Design online magazines:

It occurred to me today that I do not have any kitchens featured on my blog so here is a beautiful one from Lonny designed by Jennifer Dyer. Kitchens are one of the most important rooms in the house, not only are they a major selling feature but they are often where a lot of time is spent with friends and family. The massive island in this kitchen is perfect for preparation and storage and the the cozy nook in the corner is ideal for sitting and relaxing.
