This bedroom is perfection and epitomizes class! The horizontal lines on the wall, shape of the headboard and border on the bedding all provide a very cohesive look and the colour combination of the dark blue, pumpkin and white work well together. The leather upholstered headboards with nail head detail also contribute to the classic feel of the room.

I was never a huge fan of black and white rooms until Jennifer Ferreira's amazing black, white and gold living room. Then I saw this one and fell in love! The room is executed impeccably with clean lines, simple furnishings and a few interesting accent pieces. The direction of the stripes on the carpet welcome you straight into another beautiful black and white room seen below.

I just bought the new Traditional Home magazine and came across this beautiful house. It just so happens it incorporates the "Tiffany Blue" colourway that I love so much. As I've mentioned before I tend to look at the details in the room as it is the details that make the big picture what it is. My favourite elements in this room are the tiffany blue colour choice on the furniture which unfortunately cannot be seen properly in these images. The furniture on a whole is perfection with the rich velvet fabric, nailhead detail and lush tufting on the chairs and built in banquet. For another room with this colour scheme check out this post - a whole room based around the Tiffany blue box.

I believe that your bedroom should be your sanctuary, a place that you can retire to after a hectic day and curl up with a cup of tea and a book and just relax. The most important element to a blissful bedroom - the bed! I love a bed with a headboard, crisp white bedding, a cozy throw and lots and lots of pillows. I try to reserve my bed primarily for sleeping, cuddling and relaxing however I am guilty of an occasional late night blogging session beneath the sheets. Some other elements that I love in a beautiful bedroom are a pair of lamps and a bed bench, a bed bench is not only a practical place to sit and put on shoes but is an excuse to introduce another element into the room whether traditional and complimentary like the first image or colourful and contemporary like the second. What is important to you in a bedroom is it glamour or comfort? Check out this post about comfy cozy beds if you are more partial to the latter. Lots of love ***

The Office below is that of well known interior designer Bunny Williams. Bunny opened her own interior design company, Bunny Williams Incorporated in 1988 after having worked twenty-two years with the highly esteemed firm Parish - Hadley Assosciates. She has managed to keep the room beautiful and personal with items such as the marble bust and yet functional with all the storage and baskets. This is every interior designers dream office, while I am partial to clean lines and simplicity this rooms inspires me. Some of my favourite things about the space are the architectural detail and the exposed beams and pipes as well as the large windows which provide lots of natural light. Images are from Lonny Mag.
