Gluten free food and gluten free living have been a popular topic recently and I know a few people who have been embracing this healthier lifestyle. While I believed in the benefits I was hesistant, mainly because I assumed I could no longer eat anything yummy. I am by no means an authority on gluten-free but from what I have learnt, eating gluten free foods helps with improving cholesterol levels, promoting digestive health, and increasing energy levels among many others After learning a bit more about the benefits I looked into what I deem very important - what can I eat? I was pleasantly surprised when I came across a variety of enticing gluten-free dishes on Simply Recipes. See some of my favourites below. If you are lucky enough to have a Whole Foods in your area they offer a variety of options which are well labelled and even in Barbados while the options are less, supermarkets and even some restaurants are offering gluten free alternatives.

I'm almost embarrassed to say that I only recently learnt of Charles Spada and it's fair to say it was love at first sight. Charles Spada Interiors was established in 1980 after Spada left a successful career of designing women’s apparel in New York City and Boston. His trademark style is the use of a well-edited color palette, fabrics that play with texture, exposed stone and wood floors. The first space I saw from Spada was on the pages of one of my favourite magazines; Traditional Home and was coincidentally his personal home. Spada's work has also been featured in Elle Décor, House Beautiful, and Veranda and has achieved many awards. See more and shop the look below!

Living on an island, swimwear is a wardrobe staple and yet it can sometimes be a challenge to find the perfect "suit". I first fell in love with Sea Reinas when I saw the image below from their Wanderlust campaign. The location, model and colour scheme were clearly well thought out and executed brilliantly as the breathtaking surroundings compliment the true focal piece - the "Snorkel" bikini from the Pavilion collection!

Following her highly successful debut as the face of Louis Vuitton, actress Michelle Williams is back this spring in a second advertising campaign. The campaign spotlights three key city bags: the new Lockit, the Capucines, and the iconic Alma. The campaign which was photographed by Peter Lindbergh and styled by Carine Roitfeld.

The Burberry trench is a wardrobe staple especially when in London. Burberry and luxury hotels; Claridges, The Connaught, and Berkeley hotels have teamed up with a unique shopping concept. When staying at any of the above mentioned hotels a Burberry trench in your size will await you in your wardrobe when you check in. All you have to do is request said size when you reserve the room, and then let Burberry and your hotel do the rest. The Burberry trench is yours to wear as much as you like during your stay and if you fall in love during the process you simply add it to your bill when you check out.
